Planting The Seed

An interactive alternate reality experience by Jaidaisy! 2023.

“Planting the Seed” is a transmedia storytelling project about the nature of starting something and the conditions that make a creative experience. Inspired by my own cycle of starting the venture of creating content for different personas online, I use “Planting the Seed” to explain the start of jaidaisy which happens with this project. I seek to answer the question of, “Why now?” with the metaphor of jaidaisy being a seed springing up from the ground at just the right time. The project uses the different media expected from different social media platforms to tell the story in cycles, so that one may experience the story from beginning to end, from middle to end, from end to beginning, and so forth. Throughout these different media, jaidaisy creates an alternate reality with an irrealism story brought to life with social media posts.
